FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does VyPack have its own factory?
No. VyPack is a packaging partner, not a production facility. We provide advice, design and engineering, then coordinate print, finishing and quality control with selected suppliers, along with freight, storage and delivery.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ is normally around 250–300 units, but it varies with design, structure and material. Tell us your intended volume and we'll say what's possible.
What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks after confirmed design, depending on project scope. Express delivery takes 4–6 weeks at an additional cost that varies with current freight prices. We recommend placing the order 2–3 months before planned use.
When is payment made and can I change the order?
As standard, full payment is required before production starts, by bank transfer as stated in the invoice. Custom orders cannot be cancelled or changed once production has started or the sample has been approved.
Which tolerances apply to quantity, dimensions and colour?
The delivered quantity may vary by up to ±5% and is invoiced based on the quantity actually delivered. Deviations in dimensions or structure may not exceed 1%. Colour is assessed using Delta E, where deviations within ≤ 2.0 ΔE are considered acceptable in series production, so please provide HEX or Pantone codes.
What if the delivery is damaged or missing?
Report damage within 7 days of receipt and attach photos where needed. For a lost shipment we open an investigation with the carrier, normally with an outcome within 30 days. Our liability covers replacement of defective goods or a refund of the product value.
How should the packaging be stored after delivery?
Store the packaging in a dry, temperature-controlled place, protected from direct sunlight, heat sources and high humidity, preferably in its original protective material. Structures with thick lamination should be folded and assembled shortly after delivery if stored for a longer period.
Can I get a physical sample before production?
Yes. Physical samples start at approximately SEK 1,500 depending on structure and finish. A digital mockup is always free.
What does a free mockup cost?
Nothing. Send your brief and you receive a digital visualisation plus dieline at no cost and with no obligation.
Do I need print-ready artwork?
No. We can help with simpler graphic design, layout and print preparation. The process is usually faster if you already have your logo and artwork in an editable format.
Can you store and deliver in stages?
Yes, we can store your packaging and ship partial deliveries according to an agreed plan.
Which materials and finishes can I choose?
Ivory board, kraft, coated and uncoated paper and corrugated, with matte, soft-touch, gloss, spot UV, gold or silver foil, embossing and debossing.
What information should I enter in the AI tool?
Only project and brand information such as company name, style preferences, and material and design choices. Never enter personal data, phone numbers, addresses, email, payment details or other sensitive information. Read our AI policy for more information.
Is the AI tool image a print-ready original?
No. The image is a concept visualisation that helps us understand your idea. Production artwork and dieline are produced separately.
