Formats and structures

Ring box with a cut slot or pillow to hold the ring upright.
Chain box with a flat base, often with a channel for clasp and pendant.
Bracelet box in a taller format with a roll or pillow.
Set box with multiple bays for collections and gift sets.

Inserts and surface materials

Inserts can be foam covered in velvet, microfibre or paper, or board and moulded pulp when the material choice should be easier to recycle. Fabric-covered inserts feel softer but should be checked against scratching on metal and stone. We test the piece in the insert before tooling is ordered.

Print and detail at small scale

On small areas, fine lines, small type and dense foil become hard to keep consistent. We often simplify the mark, increase line weight and place foil or emboss centred with generous clearance. Blind emboss on uncoated paper works well for a discreet expression.

Volume, lead time and samples

MOQ around 250-300 units, often per insert variant.
Lead time normally 6-8 weeks after confirmed design.
Physical samples from approx. SEK 1,500 are recommended since fit is critical.

Frequently asked questions

Can one box fit several pieces?: Often yes, if you keep the same outer box and change the insert. That keeps tooling cost and stock down.
Which insert is gentlest on the piece?: Soft, smooth-woven materials without coarse texture. We always check for scratching at the sample stage.
Is an outer box needed?: For retail the box is enough. For e-commerce we recommend a shipping box so the jewellery box arrives undamaged.
Can you add a pouch as a complement?: Yes, pouches, tissue, cards and polishing cloths can be specified as part of the same project.
